We want to thank you for your prayers and encouragement! Offering young women Christ¹s hope and help during their unplanned pregnancy is such a needed ministry in this day and age. Here is Shelley¹s story: When Shelley came in for a pregnancy test and learned the result was positive, she didn't know what to do. She already had a child, didn't have much support, and the father of the baby wouldn’t be in the picture either. The counselor talked to her about her options and the importance of this decision—whether to carry or abort. Shelley realized she couldn't live with the idea of an abortion but knew she was going to need support. She came to our Building Blocks Program and was excited that she could come and learn and also receive much needed items for her baby. That was really helpful because she didn’t earn a lot of money. Shelley’s baby was born in August, and all is well. Her other child is also adjusting well to the new baby. Shelley said she is glad she went through with the pregnancy now. She truly appreciates the support she has received from the Pregnancy Help Center.
