Our purpose as a church is to lead people into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ, by loving God, serving others, and sharing the gospel (good news). Our intentional plan for helping you grow in these three vital areas is called Next Steps. These are intentional steps that we want people to take as they become more involved in the life and ministry at FBCC. While these are not intended to be steps in spiritual growth, they are intentional in challenging you to grow.

Attend: Entering into the presence of God through worship. Join us on Sunday morning at 11:00 am, for a blended worship style that utilizes music from ancient hymns on through contemporary songs, as we lift up the name of Jesus and enter into the presence of God.

Connect: There are many ways you can get connected. This link will take you to a list of different small groups, Bible studies, activities that will connect you to others. Continually learning about the Lord and relationship with Him and other people is essential in our Christian walk.

Commit: Now that you're connected, you believe you'd like to become a member of this local church body. Discovering Church Membership is a 4 week class designed to help you take the next step in committing to the life and ministry of FBCC. Serve: After you become a member, as one of the expectations of membership, you will want to Discover Your Place in Ministry. This class is designed to help you take the next step in serving. You'll discover how your personality, spiritual gifts, talents, abilities, interests, passions, and life-experiences can be used by God for service in the Body of Christ. Share: The great commission, given by Jesus to His followers, is that we share what we have in Christ with others. Building Bridges for Evangelism is designed to help you learn to share your faith. Building Bridges for Evangelism is a class offered periodically and takes a variety of approaches (because we are all different and you cannot assume what works for one set of people will work for everyone). Mature: Continuing to deepen your understanding and applying truth to your life and the lives of others, making disciples of and mentoring others, and becoming a spiritual Mother or Father is the next level. Whereas the steps up to this point have focused on your growth, the focus now turns to helping others in their spiritual growth as you lead them through Next Steps.
