Is the worship team right for you? 

Considerations:
· excitement about worship!
· Sunday 7:30-9:00 am practice through Worship Service(s)
· family support;
· spiritual maturity;
· musical ability; 
· ability to flow with the team.

Some people are very gifted musicians but for one reason or another (vocal range, musical style, etc.) find this is not the ministry for them.  These individuals are encouraged to share their musical gifts in other ways, i.e. special music.

·        being a Godly example in our lifestyles as we serve in leadership positions

Above all, giving God our best, our first-fruits in all things and leading a lifestyle of worship throughout the week not just on Sundays.    

How to become a member of the Worship Team:  

To be eligible to join the Worship Team, you must have been a church member for at least six months and be a year round attender of FBC. Generally the Worship Leader and Worship Team members are led to by God to ask individuals to pray about being part of this ministry but if the Lord has impressed upon you to explore being on the Worship Team you can approach the pastor or the worship leader and express interest.  We will visit with you and find out where you can best serve, whether as a singer, musician, or on the technical and sound team.  You will be asked to attend eight practices before you can sing on Sunday with the team.  During this time you can be in prayer about discovering if this is the ministry where God has called you to serve at FBC Cloudcroft.
