          Almost a year has passed since I was asked to work with the youth. I thought I had some experience because I had taught high school and later, middle school, for two years. So I agreed—not well all the time, but we had our good moments.

 In two months I will finally leave to return home to Germany, so my time has come, to give the students to someone else. My prayers are that this person loves them like I did and that he or she cares for them like I should have. My prayer for the students is that they will continue to grow to love Christ, to delight in His Word and to obey it; that they will bear good fruits and don´t duck-tape them on, like some do!

I want to say “Thank you!” to the team who continually served the students. Thank you, Pam and Jack Pickle, for being faithful and for being honest and direct with me. Thank you, Warren Turner, for just being there! And last—but not least—thank you, Angelika for helping me with the students, for giving up time for them and for being my wife.

Thank you FBC-Cloudcroft for the support you give to the students.

O God, from my youth you have taught me,

and I still proclaim your wondrous deeds.
